WHAT YOU BRING WITH YOU TO A SHOOT

1. Wardrobe: We understand that this is probably this biggest pause point for most clients. One of the services we offer is our expertise in guiding you on the best options to ensure everything coordinates. We work as a sounding board and guide so you don't arrive to the shoot without the confidence in knowing what you have to present for your images, are not only unique to you but will make your session shine.

2. Props: If the shoot requires any props or accessories, you should bring them along. This could include things like hats, sunglasses, jewelry, or, in the case of those birthday sessions, a cake. We love helping your sessions reflect who YOU are and props can definitely help add to the fun! We do of course want to discuss those with you first, just to ensure there aren't any restrictions for certain items depending on the location we are photographing at.

3. Hair and makeup products: Depending on the shoot, you may need to bring your own hair and makeup products. It's important to discuss this with us beforehand, but these are good to have on hand for touch ups if needed. In some sessions, a professional may be on hand to cover these needs but if you have any allergies or hygienic requests you can always discuss that with us.

4. ID or release form: If the shoot is for commercial or editorial purposes, you may be required to bring a valid ID or sign a release form. We don't do these types of shoots often but it's always good to have if we hire you for a commercial client. We may also request a release be signed if the photos might be used in a personal project.

5. Water and snacks: Depending on the length of the shoot, it's always a good idea to bring water and snacks to stay hydrated and energized. We do try to bring water to a shoot if it's going to be a hot day but if you have young children is may be good to bring these items, as so shoots may be during a typical meal time.

It's important to communicate that is why we always request a consultation before a shoot. This helps us work smoothly as a team to bring your images to life in a stress-free way.
